I'm planning a trip from ft. worth, Tx to the grand canyon in a couple of weeks. I'll be staying in phoenix for a day then going to the canyon the next day. But I also plan to go to Denver and to Mt. Rushmore.

What I need are some ideas to do/see in the Denver area. I'm planning to go to the Rocky Mts Ntl. Park and some city but I would like some specific good sightseeing ideas. If I need to travel to Colorado Springs or Fort Collins its no problem. I'm planning to stay there for a couple of days then go to Mt. Rushmore.

Or any places where anyone has been to that are a must see I would appreciate it. I am open to ideas.

if you end up in the dillon area there is a brewry there. its called the dam brewery.its really good. then if your in the area of bevercreek/ vail there always beautiful.
