Supercharged 2015 Ford Mustang Pumps Out Over 1,225 Horsepower

By Nicole Wakelin 7 hours ago

The standard Ford Mustang has a nice range of powertrains that go from 300 horsepower all the way up into the 500+ range. The 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang is the one that will make the most power-hungry of Mustang fans happy, but what if you still want more power?
That’s when you want to take a look at the 2015 Mustang ProCharger Stage 2 system with its incredible 1,225+ horsepower. The S2 intercooled supercharged system will turn your car from a beast into something completely insane. Eat your heart out, Hellcat.

Kansas-city based ProCharger has previously offered two output kits to increase output with 600 RWHP and 709 RWHP, but this new kit outdoes the others by quite a bit. According to ProCharger, the Stage 2 will post a sub-7-second quarter-mile run. How’s that for fast? It’s thanks to a huge air-to-air intercooler and an 8″ crank pulley and heavy-duty tensioner near the blower’s pulley.
As a bonus, not only will your car be stupidly fast with this kit under the hood, but it will only take 91 octane fuel and be completely street-legal so you can take it anywhere. What you do with it once you get there is your call.

I wouldn't mind taking it for a short cruise.

Prochargers are just phenomenal ways to add power. Especially since they are very driveable at low RPMs

I was wondering how it would handle on the street with that much HP.
