So lets do a Photo Contest In Memory of Barb, Stumpi, and Butch who we lost this year. They were active in the Photo shoots. With the upcoming fall foliage colors this will be a great time to take a few pics with your Monte Carlo. Lets have all the entries in by October 23rd which is a Monday. Be as creative as you like.
If you haven't played this game before: 1.take a photo of your Monte with the fall foliage in the background. 2. Post it in this thread between now and the 16th of October. 3. we can do a maximum of 10 entries if we have more we can do a second poll and then a run off for a final winner. 4. a reference shot is included to stimulate creativity, imagine your Monte on this road. 5. NO PHOTO SHOPING IS ALLOWED, HAS TO BE A PHOTO YOU TOOK, AND YOU MAY CROP IT.
This is not a Halloween theme. We can do one of those after this one.

Next Monday I am doing one last thing before the Monte gets tucked in for the winter.... It has bugged my that the side rocker panel ground fx have issues where water drips have pulled the pigment out of the paint and that on the fenders behind the rocker panels shows signs of rust peaking out. Well, those issues are to become a thing of the past next week. I am using a shop that has a great reputation PLUS they were the ones that succeeded in repairing my Monte where another shop failed after an incident years ago.
Good morning Everyone. I have not been on here for a week or 2. Hope everyone is doing well. We have been having some nice fall weather in VA, turned off a little muggy today but no complaints here.
Looks like Nate took it easy (comparatively speaking) on the Gulf Coast, thankfully. I hope there are no more hurricanes this season. We've had our fair share in the southeast US already. Also, I'll be vacationing down there in 17 days.....
Today my Monte got dropped off for some minor paint work before parking it for the winter. For years now (maybe since I owned the Monte), the rocker ground effects had "streaks" in the paint from water trickling down the doors when washing the car. In addition, behind the ground fx on the front fenders, there is a little bit of rust peaking out. All being addressed at a body shop. Should look great when it's done.
And it's a large/local shop with a strong reputation. They are also the shop that fixed my Monte after a hit and run a few years ago (they did what another shop failed to do, actually fix the car and make it right).
