they're sure good lookin' cars! i've always been a fan. not sure how i feel about the new rear-end, as some were saying before. i'll have to see it in person to decide.

 

 

Thanks for the birthday wishes y'all! Especially for the cake Jamie Lynn - super cool! I didn't actually get another one this year, but no biggie. Funny thing this year - when asked if I feel older I can honestly say no. It wasn't until KidSpace pointed it out that I realized I just turned 34. I could have sworn I turned 34 last year, but he's right! It's 34 this year. I never did the math and too old to care.

My plan was to take the car to the track for the first time tonight and get cool video and more disclosure for the forum, but I was off work today and now, at 6pm, I am too drunk. Not crazy drunk but I had a few - too many. Race day will have to be another Friday. Sorry folks

 

Howdy fellow MCFers.... Today was just a lazy Friday for me. I awoke at about noon to a hot pot of coffee and a delicious breakfast made by a beautiful woman. Crisp newspaper to read.... nice, cool breeze... Later this evening I'll be grilling with some friends and family... OK enough fantasizing, back to reality.

I had to work today BLAAHHHH! Been up since the butt-crack of dawn parading around in my extremely fashionable, hip, stylish Ciel Blue scrubs.

All went well though, I took a nap when I got home...that was nice. This evening I'm going to be spending some quality time with my nephew, think we'll go see the new X-Men later.

Well that's my day in a nut-shell...

ME TOO Almost missed the posting. 1st interview in 9 weeks. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the owner this afternoon. I'm EXCITED! This place makes military parts ONLY. No car parts, no consumer products. They have over a year backlog. Small shop. Not as close as yours, but still about 15 miles closer than the last job. 35-40 minute drive. 2/3 of what I was making, but it beats unemployment by a long shot! I'd be doing CNC programming, one of my many talents in my bag of tricks.

Jamie, isn't 130 on the hi-way fast enough????

 

well yeah, because 131 (more that twice the speed limit) means handcuffs. that woulda been bad.

good luck with your interview too, wayne! like i said before a lot of members here have been having some bad luck with stuff lately, i'm really hoping things go well for both you and amy. maybe it'll give the whole forum a big pick up!!

and oh my GOSH, i can't remember who i was talking about prison break with (mike? ted?) but did you or anyone else who watches it see the series finale??? we watched it on dvr and just finished it....so SAD!!!! bittersweet ending!!!! but very brilliant!!! i can't believe it's over though. i know it couldn't go on forever but i mean come on, 24 has been about to end the world for what, 7 years now?

we missed the truck race but just turned on post race coverage and see that ron hornaday won. woohoo! that's my boy!!
