Spacerider? Is it you? How have the depths of outer space been treating you lately my friend?

 

Well Mr. Space, here's some catch-up info on yours truly.

I no longer live in Southern California, so I suppose I need to change my name huh? lol. Well, after I got out of the Marine Corps, I moved back to Reno, NV and went back to school to finish up my degree. Knocked that out of the way, and have been in Med School for a couple years now. Just finished my second year actually, and will be starting my clinical rotations very soon. I look forward to becoming a physician, it's much interesting, enjoyable and fulfilling work. I teach science to 2nd graders, and to college freshman. Teaching the 2nd graders is a blast, the freshman...not so much. Anyway...I still have the Monte, still looks practically the same, and I still have the MCF decals on my back windows. I also now own a '99 Corvette and a 20 year old Dodge Ram lol (it's the work/beater truck). Hmm let's see what else... got divorced...no children... gosh...I guess that's about it... How have things been in the lovely world of MCF?

 

Hi Matt, welcome back home to the Monte Carlo Family. Wow, you sure have been going through a lot of changes 4-sure. So has the MCF. We had a major crash on the MCF begining last June 08, and many threads were lost, and User Names frozen or corrupted.
A few die hards endured the battle of the Evil Virus on the MCF.

We just got our new vB Server a few months ago, and they are still making adjustments.

You are in a super profession, and I'm sure that it is intense. Please post pic's of all your vehicles, and keep us updated on your life/profession. Will be looking forward to your future posts.

Space, thanks for the support. I truly appreciate it. It's nice to see there are some that still support the troops. I'll be sure to post some pics of the Corvette; however, I doubt I will be posting any of the Dodge...because I am ashamed of it.

I noticed how different MCF looks. It's going to take me a while to get accustomed to the new format.

I hope to become an active member again, so you should be seeing a lot more of me. Well, unfortunately it is time for me to head to bed, but I will definitely be checking in tomorrow.

WOOHOO! Its Friday and i have nothing to do today.....But Lisa sure has a nice "Honey Do" list waiting for me.

SoCal, Whats going on man. Nice to see you back. Hows if feel being out of Camp Pendleton? I remember driving past it many times going from LA to TJ. I see your back in Vegas now. Were planning a trip back there sometime this year to renew our vows (no Elvis didn't marry us, he wasn't in the building ).

Well today i'm heading out to a bodyshop to get an estimate and see how much its going to cost to get my car fixed. Then take Lisa to get her nails done. Then the mall to do some shopping. WallyWorld to do more shopping. THen come home to get jonny and go out to have dinner. then the movies to see Star Trek. WOW, isnt everyone jelouse of how i have nothing to do today?


Oh, one more thing. For some reason, i'm still smelling cupcakes. I wonder why?

 

 

I'm gonna wash the car today so i can take a better look at all the damage. I dont think it hurt the glass, but i'll know later.
