Hmmm maybe collecting unempolyment for one day or two if your not getting your full five days only applies to jobs that are fulltime to begin with? and maybe the employer needs to file for their employees...I really don't know details, I just know it can be done.

My dads work cut hours for some people to 32 a week, and those people are doing the same thing, collecting unempolyment for that one day per week...I'd ask my dad, but he wouldnt know, he was not affected by it. (Lets hope it stays that way!)

A lot of people are going for retraining these days.

What would you go for?

That's what I thought. It kind of PUSHES people to not even look for some type of work and just collect sadly

Morning all! I'm sitting at work, and none of my students want to be here today; it's always like that after a 3-day weekend. Got to try and keep plodding on through I guess.

Wow, that sux! JJ, maybe you can find a cash-paying job on the side? Got any skills, like carpentry, electrical, etc? There can be good cash $$ in those fields if you know what you're doing. Hope it all works out for you!

I know a few people that you can practice on.... wait... take that back, they're brainless!

Good luck on the meeting, training and job search!

Hi,

Here I set today freezing my --- off. Big difference from what we were having.

Funny thing is all our trees are still green and full of leaves. The grass is still very green too.

Weatherguy said yesterday it wouldn't get above 55 degrees today. Tomorrow and the rest of the week were suppose to be back in the 70s. We'll see I guess. I know it's ccccccoooooold.

The knee feels a lot better today.
Biofreeze and SportsCream helped. I used some ice on it as well.

I sure hope the weather does get back up there cause there's a show I want to attend on saturday. I don't want to have to wear my winter coat to go. (not that I haven't at this show before)
