Back home again.

Things really need to start looking over here. I just found out that a few companies in OKC just let people go and there is a rumor that GoodYear here in Lawton is going to Mexico. Leaving a WHOLE lot of people unemployed. If they do go, the only think keeping this town alive is Fort Sill. If they ever decide to close it, Lawton will be a ghost town.

I looked at the newspaper and there was only 1 column of Help Wanted. That is incredibly sad. We even got the OKC paper and there were only 2 columns.

I read a report that people are leaving Florida, California, and Nevada and are moving to Texas and Alaska. But soon those states will be over populated and the job market will dry up also.

These are very hard times.

I wanna stay in Ok cause we really like the state, but the job market is bad here. I guess only time will tell.

Justin, i feel your pain about the cold. Its 45 here right now. BRRRRR

Michael, there are stupid people everywhere. I know that this town is full of them. LOL

I think i might see about getting me a concealed weapon permit too. I wanna be able to take my slingshot where i got. LOL

I have a mini 9 LED flash light. That thing is BRIGHT!!

Morning everyone!

It's freakin cold here in the metro Detroit area too. It was a little windy and rainy last night too. It feels like the cold rainy weather you get in november. But nothing lasts forever. Not even the cold november rain.

If you do that, won't you lose your unemployment?

If your not working fulltime, you can collect unemployement for the remaining hours...

My friends work cut everyone from 40 hour weeks to 32 hours weeks, forcing everyone to take one day a week off...they were allowed to collect unempolyement for that one day per week.

Now I honestly don't know about a part-time job...JJ, you might want to pick their brains!

I can believe taht video is almost 20 years old. How time flys.

I was told that i CAN NOT make more then $100 a week while on unemployment. I really need to see if i can get retrained in a new career cause i'm tired of all the crap that has happened to the paint industry in the last few years.
