let me just start off by saying i was not there and she was hit in a school parking lot i am 0% at fault she was parked perfectly and in view of a camera last actual school day of my senior year too this other guy is a junior and has a grey 4 runner. it's a hit and runner shes still drivable but it is her worst damage since she was built in 1997 for sure. I Just washed it yesterday too it's a good 3 to 4 inch dent too

that sucks man, funny though my car had the same dent (actualy worse i think) on the passenger side when i got it. i was able to pop probibly 90% of it back out by taking the back seat bottem out and the rear interior panel, there's a couple of small access holes you could get to it from.

Make the kid pay for that, especially if it was caught on camera and you can prove it to anyone. I'd be pissed as hell. Hope you get that worked out.

sorry to hear about your bad news hope all is well with it and you get it fixed soon! it should not affect your insurance at all as you were not at fault. (in PA thats how it is anyway, your state maybe different idk)

I hope you made a police report!!
1 - You want a report, it was a H-n-R
2 - You know it's on camera, the cops can identify the person it sounds like
3 - Then you should be able to give YOUR insurance company the info and THEY should be able to sort this out. If your ride has full coverage your insurance should pay for it to be fixed (minus your deductible) while they pursue the H-n-R, plus when it's all sorted out, you should get refunded on the deductible.
Don't quote me on #3, I'm NOT an insurance guru. But get the police report if you have not already. H-n-R's are NOT good things for the person who left the scene. And from what I understand, that can be a NASTY ticket.

That sucks! Hope you get it fixed.
Why would this mess with your insurance though whatsoever?
You said it's in view of the camera and you know who hit it so it should be his to pay for, he did commit a felony so he should pay for it.
