Garage looks great!!
You're welcome.
will work for 2 cars side by side, interior dimension will be about 20ft wide.
Get the 9x18 door if in your budget.
I have work benches along front of barn and it makes it tight for a truck and a car to park 2 deep. Bathroom may be out once you do plans and layout for fixtures and still expect 4 cars to fit along with other stuff.
Get specs on the lift you want now so you can check fit and concrete requirements. No control joints in slab near the hoist columns.. and PSI and thickness of concrete at lift are something not to skimp on . I went 7 in thick at lift and 5 in else where , but Im set up for heavy equipment and high point loads.
All electric will have to be on GFIs, and I went 20 amp every where
I use a wood stove to heat barn and also have torpedo heaters for small jobs.
I would be happy to talk more if you want . This is a small job for me as I used to build much bigger projects, and have already learned what works and what the pitfalls can be
These pictures show my barn at its worse as pontoon boat is in it for the winter
Enjoy Dave

Are going to finance the house you are in? Or buying it out right? IMHO put your garage money toward the principal on your home loan, worst comes worst you loose the house.... Guess what your garage goes with it... Catch my drift?

I'm not sure what lift I want at all yet but thanks for the heads up there. Yea if worse comes to worse and I can't fit a bathroom I will just install a urinal on the wall and a sink (mainly that's all I want anyway)

Habbibie we are financing but it will be paid off quick as we had money to put down and the home was way cheaper than it should of been. I plan to save garage money over winter and build in the spring, the house payment is cheaper than any of my car payments so if I get in hard times I'll let one of the cars go. Once garage is up remodel the house and live here for a while then eventually move and rent this place out and rent garage seperate and the rental money can be fund money for a bigger house with land and a bigger garage. I got her all planned in my head lol

Dang John your going to have a work shop your never going to come out of. That will be nice for you to create a work area where you can really tear into a project and keep at it year round. Bet it will be bad azz as all hell!
