Had to look it up on cars.com

It had a 3.5 litre v6 -- 4 speed automatic tranny with overdrive and auto-manual

Horsepower varied depending on the year.

What surprised me is that according to cars.com, the 2002 Prowler is listed at 253 horsepower.

I still would've preferred a V8 with performance exhaust to make it an awesome hotrod.

I liked the idea of the Prowler. It had great potential as a factory built hot-rod. Too bad they put a weak-azzed engine and automatic tranny combo in it.

Space, couldn't help but notice the MCF Yugo in that list. LOL

LOL `Lou, and they sold 140.5K in the USA.
To bad ours was repo'ed or did J.J. crash it on a beer run

Now we just have 2 use our MCF Modified Monte for our MCF Parties

the prowler looks good but i do think they should have done what gm did with the monties put in a v6 and a v8. to try to help with the sales of it but the price range for it is out ragus. expesually the resale of them thats the reson why i didnt get one there sky high in resale. there is alot you can do to the prowler but not what is asked for the prowler wont leave enough for mods.
