Hi `Duane, great to read that your grandfather is getting better & that you had a safe & exploring adventure.(Thanks for the Super Pic's) I think you've travelled more in Florida then I have : ) It's great that you had time to meet Gregg. I hope that my future provides me the time to get 2gether with others. Now, I don't seem to have the time to spend with my BeachBum/Friends/Family : ( "Giving Up to Get/Help/Survive isn't E.Z., but it seems nothing good in this life is E.Z." : )

The creepy stuff scares me "Duane the Stalker"

Yeap... that was me. Ron Jon's just seemed like a big fancy t-shirt place to me.... have to look around a few minutes to find surf boards and swim trunks. The astronaut hall of fame was pretty nice. My grandfather actually contirbuted some documents and pictures he had to the place.

That G-Force trainer that Space has modified the picture of me in knocked the crap out of me though. Two 4 year old girls jumped out of the thing and were talking about how awesome it was,... so I figured "It can't be too bad"... yeah, I had motion sickness for 4 hours after that. That must be what the 4 is... how long you will have motion sickness after riding in it. Every bridge and bump made me feel weird after that. Plus, my left arm went to sleep for about 30 minutes afterwords.

Well he got out of the hospital and back to the nursing home several days ago. They took him off one of his medicines.. celebrex I think it was, and now he can't move his arms again. On going battle for a month or so has been his inability to move his arms. He wants to get out next week to go over to Cape Canaveral for the Astronaut Show, he was invited over since he worked on the Gemini/Apollo programs. They were thinking of sitting him beside Buzz Aldrin for it. I do'nt know if he is going to make htat or not.

Just seems to me like he has gotten onto that "Hospital-nursing home-hospital-nursing home" routine that a lot of people don't come off of.

Duane I hope your grandfather can get over to the Cape. Keep us posted on his progress and you have my number for the next time you come to town. Gregg
