Default ZZ Performance Visit

I went to ZZ Performance yesterday to return the core charged items I purchased: factory catalytic convertor and throttle body. I kept the S/C pulley puller. Was hoping to strap it on the dyno while there, but a '00 GTP was on it. Had been for 2 days. They gutted the S/C and added a turbo kit,and bunches of other goodies. Pulling 474 hp at the wheels, currently.
They tried to re-flash my PCM without luck. Security system prevented it. Am thinking the aftermarket stereo had something to do with it. Don't know. They ended up pulling the PCM and replacing it with a new unit and flashed it before they installed it. Biggest difference so far? The "granny" shifts are now firm, and head snapping if you stomp on it! Milage appears to be settling in at 25.0-25.5 mpg. Without a tuner, it's hard to check anything else.
I also purchased a rear strut tower brace, to match the front purchased 3 weeks ago.
So now it's almost 300 hp and still gets 25 mpg. I'm happy.
There is a chassis dyno about 1/2 mi from work, so I will probably go there for a dyno.

So they didn't get your HP readings yet? I am curious to see what you're pulling with that pulley and supporting mods...

Glad mileage is good, and if they did that good of a job, I may just drive the 400 miles up there to have them take care of me.

Glad things went well Wayne!!

HP at the flywheel should be 290-300 hp. But I'm curious about WHP.

Don't have a tuner, but I didn't notice any. But I also run ONLY 93 octane gas.

Well, I know Dan does too, but he's still seeing 6-7* at WOT... so I was curious if you had the same thing...

I am waiting to throw this gen v on, and for the time being, i would like to through on a 3.5 on the Gen III and leave it... thats why I ask.. if you had any issues...

Thanks Wayne! Let me know when you finally get her on the dyno!

Go with a 3.4" pulley.It's safe.
I asked yesterday about putting on a 3.2 or 3.3 pulley. ZZP said MAYBE a 3.3, but cautiously, but a 3.2 at this point would take a minimum of either headers or a SS intercooler.
What brand tuner does he have? Where did he get it?
Wifey, Sweetheart, I want a tuner for our laptop for Christmas!

He bought his new VCM tuner.. but he hasnt really tuned it in yet, still in the mail... I think he had bought a DHP pcm though, and thats what caused the raise in KR...

They said that until I get more radical, like changing the cam, this programming should be MORE than adequate for my setup.
I still want a smaller pulley

Did they just give you their standard PCM?
