good to hear, we are handling it on our side, glad to know you are aware. I dont want the attitude of a few select people to start some sort pointless flame war between 2 forums. Particualry when we all love the same thing.

 

That site should be banned. Yes every one has there own opinion but a least here it's kept very civil. I don't care for the Mustang bashing though. I respect all rides for what they are.

 

internet bashing is useless. hence why i haven't bothered looking for another monte carlo forum. i prefer the ***** free zone, and the amount of knowledge in these forums.

 

I think it says a lot for Manitcor and SS Girl (Bambi)'s character. The owner and admins ofMyMonte.comcame here to appologize to Chris. Please take the high road, accept their appologies, and welcome them to MCF. We want to be known as a friendly forum, so please don't start making comments like "their site should be banned".

I agree with mickey on this. The problem was taken care of, so let's get back to enjoying life.

Actually truth be told the wife loves them. I dont mind the new ones and actually tried to trade her p.o.s. neon that she has for one. But they would not give me a payment i wanted to pay.

But i actually like the mustangs

but you have to admit they make it soooooo easy some times. But we do also.

 

You know, I got to thinking today... are we very much more innocent of such childish behavior ourselves sometimes? I got to thinking back about a forum on a car, which I have hte picture here of, that althoguh we concluded it was a prank, we still said some pretty rude things about the car and the driver. So I was thinking... just whoare we hurting with our thoughtless criticisms' of other's cars? Who is paying the price for what we say to each other? And this can go beyond cars to just what we say of other people.... I'm very guilty of this myself as well, and I'm sure many of us are.... How many times have we been with our buddies and talking about stuff we would never say to someones face... or if we do say it to their face, it would deepy hurt them. Just a thought... maybe we should all step back and think for a moment before we speak, becasue we never know who we may be hurting.

 

I'm certain that picture you posted, was all done in jest. I certainly hope so... noone can seriously believe the car is better because of those mods.

 

You have a point Duane. Like the saying goes, "Those who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones."
But there is a difference in this case. Someone happened accross that picture of a car that was subject to a school prank.Chris's situation is very different. Trust me.

 

Bashing a car like SuperWing is one thing. Afterall, we're Monte Carlo owners/lovers/and such.

But there's little excuse for Monte owners to be bashing another Monte owner. (my $0.02)
