Lol, id buy a metal mailbox, line it with flint, then fill it with gunpowder... wake to an explosion and see a kid wondering why his arm was missing.

On a serious note, I agree with the concrete, my mechanic did the same thinfg after his kept getting hit. He went out to it a couple of days after installing it, saw a dent in the plastic and a cracked metal baseball batt on the ground 50ft from it.

I wish I woulda saved it, but I found a old thread on a different 3800-based forum that I guy posted about someone who broke into his garage. He said it was apparent the would-be thief was after 3800 performance parts he had laying around and ignored the valuable tools that were a lot close to the door. In his post, he explained why the thief got away with nothing and posted pics proving it. His dog was in the garage and musta tore the would-be thief up (lots of pics of blood spots).

Dang, I shoulda saved that thread.....

I'm sure he fed the dog an extra good treat for that job!!!

BTW - The thread was a year or two old, no follow up on being charged with an issue of a violent dog.

I was one of them disrespectful kids guys. I am not a bit proud to admit that. If your car got egged in 1983 by a 3 year old in oconto falls wisconsin from 3rd story window at a apartment complex, Well sorry bout that. I was too young to remember what I was thinking. I did get caught due to my bedroom window screen was on the ground along with empty cartons directly below my window. I dont remember throwing the eggs but Ill never forget them two cops that was tryin to get me outta my hiding spot. I could of swore they were tryin to kill me. That was the 1st and last time I ever messed with someones ride. Again, Im not proud of this.

There is a big difference between a young child (such as you at age 3) and a teenage kid egging cars. A 3 year old probably didn't know any better that the time (or did not realise the various consequences of there actions). But a teenager should be old enough to know better.

On the plus side, sounds like you were scared into learning your lesson

I've never got'n my car egged, by last winter two kids were going at it with snowballs... broad day light, untop of a parking garage (its only 2 lvls) at a very busy intersection...saw them peeking over the wall while i was waiting at the light (was turning left right along the parkade), thought to myself, those little ****s are gonna hit me (had a feeling, cause, well.. been there, done that) sure enough, as soon as i drove infront of the parkade 2 ***** hit my car... but what they didnt expect was me flooring it up the ramp, which force them to jump off (only about 3/4 of the structure sticks out above the ground, the other lvl is below ground) i dont think ive ever seen kids run that fast...

My brother-in-law earlier this year had it worse then I think anyone I know. He drove under an overpass and some kids dropped a brick on his car (damage was mostly the front windshield). Luckily, he kept control of the car and no other harm was done.

Sad part, cops that came out and took a report told him "Kids are always dropping stuff from there, we're not going after them". Seriously, I know odds of finding the kids might be tough, but I think some effort should be done. In this case serious damage was caused, but what about the next time when it causes an accident or a death? And if it's that frequent that you can say "all the time", perhaps measures need done to prevent it (fencing/shielding of some kind so people can't drop stuff off the overpass)....
