but a corprate greed problem
A lot of truth in that comment.
U.S. companies almost demand a high profit while eastern companies accept a small profit (other then the oil people) and continue to operate.

G Richard Wagoner Jr's Compensation 27 Million over 5 years garenteed + 7.5 million in stock, Thats just the CEO and not including the purks such as retirement salary, medical, paid expenses. Not to mention the guy does no work on the product at all he is just a figure head nothing more. So in short to complain that the union is killing the company, YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. 1 guy makes more in a year than all of the union employees Whats wrong with this picture. Sorry for the rant Guys I just can't stand to hear uninformed people talk **** and have no facts to back it up.

Salary - 27,000,000
Stock - 36.7 X 7,500,000 = 275,250,000
Total - 302,250,000 / 5 years = $60,450,000
Divide that by 62,400 that the average union employee makes at $30/hour = 968.75 total union employees.
I'm not one hundred percent sure, but I'd feel safe to say that GM has more union employees then that.
Mercury Marine where I used to work had over 2500 union employees and I considered that small as it only the shop in Fond du Lac. There are 4 other plants in the US but I don't know how big they are but I beleive are similar in setup.
