If I May Share
Last saturday (07/27/2013) my good friend Steve died from complications from alzheimers. He was 60 years old.
I knew Steve as a child. His sister and one of my sisters were good friends all the way through school. Steve graduated with my middle sister.
As a teen and learning about Tri-5 Chevies Steve was a mentor and time and time again gave me parts for my car(s) not asking a single cent for them.
In march, 1988 I bought Steve and his late wife Diane's '57 150 Handyman Wagon as B-day present to myself.
Steve's second wife Diane died from a brain aneurysm in about 1996.
I only have one photo of Steve taken at a local car show the summer of 1982.
Sadly I missed Steve's funeral. I tried to get information but only found out at thursday at 8:30pm that it was thursday morning at 10:00am.
I would have gladly drove my Wagon is memory of Steve. But I learned last evening the funeral was family only.
RIP Steve.
