I Think Lolas starter just died

Unhappy I Think Lolas starter just died

she wont start and the security light is not on so pass key is not locking me out this time. It was clicking unfortunately too. exactly a week before i leave for Lowell and it just had an oil change and look over and my mechanic told me she was all good opinions on what to do thinking of just buying a brand new starter at pepboys for 160 just so i know its not gonna happen again THIS SUCKS.

check, clean and wiggle you're battery connections. if they're good, you could try jumping a wire directly from the battery to the starter, to see if it will crank around or not. just be carefull you don't shock your self

batts fine tho its only a year old and everything in the car will work when im not trying to crank it

could still be a bad connection, or a weak charge on the battery. my buick likes to do that, everything works untill you turn the key, then CLICK won't start. wiggle the battery terminals around and that usually does the trick.
