Hey I'm right there with ya Chris, people go off on me & I'm like hey it's not like I'm trying to make mine an Intimidator SS, I get pissed when people think it's an Intimidator SS bcuz clearly it is not bcuz it's not all black. Mine is a custom made tribute car so that's different then cross-badging & all of that

Because some people just don't know a R/T from a GT to the SS.
It's like going to Auto-Zone and slapping on a stick-on "Supercharged" badge to your 1980something K-Car and telling everyone......"looky what I got".......Arrgggghhhhh !

 

So when I top swap and slap a Gen V on my Monte I can't use the "Supercharged" badge from the 04+? That makes me a sad panda. I was planning on swapping out the side Monte Carlo nameplates for those.

 

one time in town i pulled up to a monte with a single tail pipe and no ground effects, there were SS decals everywhere and different colored monte logos, i pulled up and asked him if it was a true ss, he replied yes, then asked him the engine size, and he told me 3400, i laughed and then roasted him no problem. made my day at work awesome haha.

also, my buddy wanted to put one of my original monte carlo logos from the trunk on his camry, i told him there was no way i would let my monte carlo family look that bad haha

 

Well I have noo problem with people showing their passion & love for The Intimidator so idk why people have such a people with me doing it? I don't see any problem with Chris doing it at all as long as he is an actual fan...if he wasn't a fan of Senior & was putting senior stuff on his car then I'd be hella pissed
