Default need help with de-badging

So I went to take off the monte carlo emblem behind on the rear side windows and I took one off with string.. it came off fairly easy. I got all the rubber crap off and now im left with, what seems to be dry super glue. its hard and crusty and it looks like it bunched up at the bottom.. i just left it there for now. I dont think that is supposed to be there. i didnt take the other one off yet. because im just gonna put the emblem back on(without glue) if i cant figure out how to get it off. if some one could enlighten me on how to get this stuff off id appreciate it. if not ill just put it back on.

Goo-gone. Just be sure to re-wax anywhere you use the goo gone on

If you be very very careful a putty knife can work.. You could try some compounds on a buffer if you have one, that would work too.

this is what we used to get my stripes and the "emblem adhesive" (hard black supre glue stuff) off my Monte most car paint supply and car repair shops have them already or you can get one your self they work great and you can do it your self and best of all they don't hurt your paint

if worse comes to worse you, get a razor blade and scrap it off. Just a warning tho use no pressure if you do the blade may dig into the paint.

you have to let the goo gone settle on the stuff, so hold a rag over it, and then use your finger nail to scratch it off, then wax.

if you try to buff it you will probably get bad results with your paint
