Default Cross Drilled or Slotted

I'm looking for a top of the line set of rotors, and want to know which way is best to go, cross drilled or slotted. Also I want some reviews from people who already have them. Please advise, and point me in the right direction. Thanks!

PS - I'm looking for GOOD rotors, not just a bit over OEM. thanks!

Default RE: Cross Drilled or Slotted

IMHO u will not notice any diff. The cross drilled/slotted dissipate heat faster but that doesnt mean they r better for street driven cars. The brakes need to maintain some heat as they r designed to work this way. Race cars build excessive heat and require the premo rotors and pads. Ive used them and sell them and havent seen or felt a difference, they tend to resist some warping that cheaper rotors have. Just purchase a good set of rotors and a premium pad (not racing) and u should be happy. If not then look into caliper upgrades. For the record when I wore my cross/drilled slotted out I replaced with standard type rotors and good Ceramic pads. My 3400 lbs. stops like a Champ.
