I crashed my Monte
#21
Honestly, I would keep it given the airbag didn't deploy. To me that indicate it wasn't that bad. I didn't see any frame damage either. I really don't think it's that bad at all. Insurance companies are quick to total a vehicle out. They will only fix it an resale it for twice of what your settlement will be. It wouldn't take much to get your Monte back looking nice. That's a DIY'selfer if you ask me! Hit up some yards find a matching bumper cover an hood. I'm not expert, This is just my opinion. It may be underlying problems so its hard to really suggest what to do in your situation. follow what will works best for you. Good Luck!

If you truly want to keep your Monte, since the air bags did not deploy, that is a HUGE plus (that system is very expensive). So, before you make your final decision, find out what exactly the damages are that cost so much (especially if you do a lot of your own work or know someone willing to help you). It could be a lot of bolt on stuff and a little body work. If so, it might be worth buying it back from insurance.
If not, take their offer and shop for another car.
Best of luck man! Again, luckily no one was hurt!
