Question horn went out on the way to work

Was driving to work and went to use it and nothing happened it never squeaked out but I have yet to check the fuse as I'm assuming that'd be the mostlikely cause. Is there any other common causes I should check if the fuse is a-ok?

if the fuse is ok, i would check the contacts on the horns or the horn itself went out, when i had my 05 impala, i went threw about 3 horns because the rain and snow got under the bumper and rusted them out, not sure where they are placed on your monte, and my 01 monte i haven't had long enough to know if they have the same issue.

Could be a relay..or the horn its self, Or in the steering wheel... ie bad loose connection

Horn broke, watch for finger lol!

I've had the fuse pop before on other cars, change it and no more issue. Don't over complicate it, check the fuse, if it's popped, change it, test horn through out the week, if it keeps working no issue.

My wife's 2005 Impala SS , I had to change the horns 2 times they quit..
The horns are in the same place on Monte's & Impala's ..
You can check the horns with a jumper wire .

Let us know when you check your fuse...
Oh, I think I'm low on gas, do you think I should read my gauge > b-4 my car stops ? (LOL)
I do hope it's only your fuse & I thank all our member's that took their time to help you & others that may have a horn on their Monte that isn't working...
It's all good > Good Luck
