We in the KC area have lost several oval tracks. One of the more famous is the I-70 because it had both dirt and pavement oval tracks and last Sunday was the last day for our dragstrip. It was the only NHRA dragstrip in MO. There is a grassroots movement to save the track. If anyone here (and I encourge all on here) want to sign the petition then you can at www.savekcir.org that will take you straight to where the petition is hosted. Most of the movement is on facebook and we had a assembly at City Hall last Monday which got some media coverage. Anyways, it saddens me that any track is closed so this is why I am fighting as hard as I can to save this track.

But anyways if you want any info on any tracks in my area, I will try to find out more about where they was so you can google them for area shots.
