Hey Wiz Kidd, what type of miles to the gallon do you get on that bad boy?

 

its not that great, the monte was WAAAAY better, i dont do a lot of highway driving and apparently thats where these cars are good cuz they shut down to 4cyl on the highway, but in town i get anywhere between 200-300 miles on a tank of gas, so not overly good

thanks for the compliments guyz still do miss my monte though, but i had to have something with 4 doors

Also, how does that swap to 4cyl work?
I remember seeing advertised on the 300 a couple years back...
my question is.. the car will automatically switch? or is there a button you toggle between 8 and 4?
Because that would be sweet!! even though probably depending on speed/cruise ???

 

GM has it on their Impala / Monte V8.

Just automatically switches.

 

i think it just automatically switches, i've never even noticed it doing it before, so i just think it does..lol it does say it has it though

I didn't know this, just learned something new.
But i guess it only work when driving highway... cool i guess if you do much highway driving, other wise city, you're short. haha
I don't know i guess its just one of things you gotta swallow to drive a sweet 300/charger/magnum/monte v8 ^.^
