Default Haven't been here in ages. Got a new car...

Hey whats up guys. I know I've been gone for a while, and that's because I sold my 2000 Monte SS in May. I then bought a 1999 Pewter Trans am. I cruised that and raced it at Gateway International Raceway over the summer. However, I couldnt hold out of the Monte Crew for that long. Last week I purchased a 1988 Monte SS. I've wanted another one since I sold my first car (1987 SS). So here's some pics of my TA that I'm currently trying to sell, and some pics of the new Monte in the family.

I'm glad to be back! (And sorry bout all the pics... lol)

See any resemblance?

Thanks for the compliments guys. Life has been treating me pretty well kweef. Still in college and still makin enough money to support my habit (cars)

Inssanity: I put a SLP air lid, Magnaflow catback exhaust, 3.42:1 gears, a DiabloSport Predator handheld tuner, and the chrome z06 replica 17" wheels and tires on the car. As well as tinted the windows myself for the first time ever...

The car ran pretty very consistant low 13's, depending on the temperatures, while averaging about 20mpg around town. The tuner helped a BUNCH! That would be my first recommendation. I gained about 2 tenths of a second in the quarter by simply changing timing advance, wot shift pressures, shift points, and raising the rev limiter. Of course, with the advanced timing I had had to run 93 or greater octane to prevent any spark knocking, but it was well worth it.

Dude, I want them both, the TA and the Monte... Although I'd rather have the TA's from a few years after yours, the WS6s.

I might have missed it, but if you don't mind me asking, what sorta pricing are you looking at for the TA and to buy the Monte?
