Thanks `Dale for being the first member to post on this thread. I appreciate and enjoyed your story on gratitude and the lesson that can be learned from it.

Sadly there seems to be many that are without gratitude in today's world, and I find that very sad. There seems to be many that are self absorbed in their own lives and forgot the words of thanks.

I feel sorry for those in life that were not taught those lessons or examples by their family, teachers, mentors & friends.

I find it frustrating, but I continue on my journey of life doing my best to be good and set a good example for others that I encounter in life. I am not a perfect person and have and still make many mistakes, but I do my best to learn from them and try my best not to repeat.

I think your suggestions are great & you or member's have the freedom on the MCF to start threads & make posts that you believe our membership will enjoy...."Nothing Ventured, nothing Gained".

I know that I have made many threads that have failed and our member's did not participate. It's sometimes, many times difficult to create threads that will be of interest to the majority of our diverse membership, but I've kept trying in hopes that our member's will get involved.

I do this for our membership, but also in attempt to increase the activity on the MCF. Sponsors will only support active forums. Without sponsors, there would be no MCF.

Sorry I haven't been around much everyone. I sold my Monte a couple years ago. I want to get another one, but I just haven't been able to. Eventually I will. I do pop in every now and then to see what everyone is up to.

 

Great to see that you still check in with your Monte Carlo Family. I hope that you can get another Monte Carlo in your future I hope that life is good for you & your family in Cedar Rapids.

Hello Space, MCF Staff, members and passers by. Thanks to all of you who put this site together and keep it going! I truly enjoy it. I would even like to meet some of you at some point. Please keep up the great work and entertainment!

Now by reading some of your post on this thread it seems like you are asking for suggestions. I have one. What do you think about a topic or section that is dedicated to member owned Garages, shops, car sheds, tools and such? I have seen some questions and post about where we work on our cars, from nice shops to shade trees. This is just a thought. I could start a thread on this topic if needed to test the popularity of the discussions.

What do you think? Again, I really like the forum as it is now. Keep up the good work!
