Giving Thanks & Gratitude was taught to me at a early age,
and I hope it is not fading away in our world or on our forum.
and I hope it is not fading away in our world or on our forum.
- Saying thank you and showing appreciation for what someone else has done for you increases the likelihood that this good energy will pay itself forward. Uttering those two words makes people more likely to help others in the future
- MAKE SOMEONE SMILE
One of the easiest ways to put a smile on someone’s face is to share with them how important they are to you. Whether it’s acknowledging a colleague for a job well done, or telling your loved one something positive about themselves, expressions of appreciation and gratitude make people feel valued, confident and validated.

- The acts of appreciation and gratitude have proven health benefits, leading to boosts in the immune system and a decrease in stress. The healthy route includes acknowledging others, not holding in your positive thoughts and smiling more often than not.
GRATITUDE VS. THANKFULNESS
“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.“
— Henri Frederic Amiel
*
LIVING BY GRATITUDE
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”
— John F. Kennedy
*
WHAT TO BE THANKFUL FOR
“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.”
— Buddha
*
"Speak True & act your words"
- Grandpa `Space
Thank You

“Silent gratitude isn’t very much to anyone.”

>My Thoughts<
Hi Everyone,
Our MCF Member's are a diverse group of people of all ages, backgrounds, experiences,
cultures, nationalities, religions, from various locations on Planet `Earth.
Everyone has become a member of the MCF for a multitude
of reasons. Mostly to learn more about their Monte Carlo's
and to attempt to get information on problems that
may occur during their ownership.

Many only visit the MCF when they have a problem and
then depart. Some say thank you & some do not.

Others stay and join in on the social aspect of having a
common interest in the Chevy Monte Carlo and participate
on the forum and get to know other member's.

I've seen many come & go, but a few return with a
update on their life. Some say goodbye, but
many just fade away like smoke and
never return.

grattitude?
GRATITUDE VS. THANKFULNESS
Gratitude is shown in acts.
Gratitude is a very rare commodity. It is difficult to respond to.
Not long ago I befriend a person and helped that individual a little bit. Then it was like they forgot I did anything for them and didn't even recognize that I existed.
what is it that Capt Kirk said Say la V.
Let me try to show what Gratitude is.
So if you don't know by now I am what they call the Intimidators Twin, yes Dale Earnhardt and I not just a look a like, I looked like him from age 3 and can prove it.
I met him and spent a few days sharing space with him at an event, at the time I had no idea who he was. His inspiration rubbed off on me.
So I did a lot of Charity stuff, ( like you have a Car show and I take photo's with the folks and they would donate anything they wanted for that charity). Kind of cool. Some times it was positive sometimes not.
No matter who you are I treat you like a real person.
So a few years ago I met a fellow who is Mentally Challenged. He is loud and doesn't have many friends. But I treated him like a real person. I didn't run away cause of his handicap. As a result I made him feel like he is part of society.
Last year, He was real lucky and won a raffle for some Race tickets to Kansas City Nascar , this was a great package. So he calls me up and told about it, he was sad he couldn't go cause he wanted his Father to go also, an he couldn't cause of emphysema.
So he wanted to give me the ticket package. I wasn't home and had just returned to work from a vacation so I couldn't go. (But that was Gratitude on his part, no one else has ever done anything like that for me) WOW, I got a tear or two.
Suggestions............... Maybe we can bring back Name that Ride? What is your favorite Chevy? Show a photo and take one that you may have just seen.
