I had heard about the reverb units from back in the 60's. I think they were basically the same as what the kids are putting in their cars now with those big bass speakers. I saw a reverb unit once while stripping a mid sixties Dodge Coronet back in my junk yard days. I had no clue what it was so I asked. I was mounted to the back seat cushion and reverberated the music thru the seats and car sheet metal. (sound familiar)? I had quite a few of the FM converters back in the early eighties. It was a cheap way of getting FM in your car and after my oldest kids were born I had to have cheap. I still remember when listening to AM radio was cool. In Massachusetts I grew up listening to AM WRKO out of Boston. They played top 40 and had the coolest DJ's at the time. Of course this is when CCR, James Taylor, the Beach Boys and the Beatles were still top 40.

I never under stood why people do that.
One thing that bugs me is when some one's first post is hi-jacking some one else intro tread

I try to hang around, i'm still active on the thirdgen f-body forums, some bike forums and the diesel stuff, i tend to forget to check in and up on some of em from time to time.

I got somewhat burned out on the diesel sites with guys telling me my setups junk, doesnt make as much power as "x" blah blah blah, when your at this power level then tell me my way is wrong, finally got to me so mostly off topics for me now lol

This doesn't really bother me per se. But I find it somewhat interesting when people occasionally come on here and trash another forum. Espcecially another Monte forum. It's not going to make us like you more. In fact most of us here are members on other Monte forums. Including the staff. Trashing another forum is likely to lose you friends. And make for some tense moments if you show up at a meet or a show-n-shine; somewhere where members of that forum will be.

Just a note I thought I'd throw in there.

I appreciate when people take the time to come here. Whether it's in need of help or other wise. I really think that's what forums are for. It would be nice if they stuck around and joined in the conversations and such. But it's not mandatory. Just my opinion though.

Yes and no to me, yes because it would be nice if members would revisit when they actually don't have a problem just to visit. And No because I'm actually thinking of joining an F-150 Forum just to figure out what I all need to lift my truck 3 inches and whats best, I'd joing a Dodge Ram Forum at one tiem and was going back frequently like I do here but it just became that no one with the older rams would get on it was all 03+ and every time I'd ask a question or start a pic thread there would be no views or responses.

GUILTY as charged
2 years ago I joined because had the Intimidator lll spoiler and wanted to see if any one had interest. I knew they were a hard to get item and wanted a fellow enthusiast to have a chance at buying it. Did not sell it to any members but sold it on ebay.
Long story short, 2 years and 2600 posts later, I am still here and held hostage.

It kind of makes me laugh when I see it happen but sometimes DEF at first I felt since I was so young 21 they people wouldnt take my questions seriously I really do love my monte because I know how hard I work to get it. I try to participate as much as I can and at least write something but as far as mechanical things im not to knowledgeable myself so I try to look and learn but also help where I can or at least participate in the off topic things.

JUST BECAUSE SOMEBODY DOESNT PARTICIPATE AS MUCH AS ANOTHER PERSON DOESNT MEAN THERE A BAD MEMBER OR A BAD PERSON.

Its funny were talking about this because I was just saying i need to be more active on here because everybody is so helpful to me when i need it
