so now that i am in need of brakes really badly now i ordered my breaks. i got R1 concepts slotted and drilled rotors with a slightly better set of pads. im doing all four corners. they came in today!!!!! i am very excited to get started on it. i wont be able to for another week or two though cus im really busy.
while im at it i am painting the mirrors, possibly the headlights, fixing my lip, and the calipers and brackets.

Wow. You went with the Premium R1's. I heard they're great rotors. How much did everything run you?

I had PowerSlot rotors and Hawk pads on my Stratus. That thing could stop on a dime, but I don't think I would spend $500+ on brakes ever again! lol

To add, good things are going to come for me today. My wheels are being delivered today. Should have them mounted this weekend!

 

I got the PowerSlot/Hawk package for my Monte for $500. I personally think it was worth every penny. Anything that keeps me out of an accident is worth the investment.

 

for all of tit including the pads and shipping it was about 450. not bad and they look good. by the time its all said and done i should have about a thousand into the brakes thos. (thats including my time and labor for repaint) but it should be worth it. i cant wait to get them on and put my blings on!!!!!! (19" ASA amg wheels)
