Default GMpartsdirect.com

has anybody bought from GMpartsdirect.com? i need a driver door master switch bezel (AKA the part that is the top of the door pull with the window switches in it) and the dealer in town said the part has been discontinued....go figure, so i look on gmpartsdirect, and find the part for less than half of the dealer MSRP. Just kinda wondering if they sell genuine OEM parts or if they are off brand???

GMPartsDirect is a dealer themselves. I have had bad experiences with them.

When I need a part, I go to NAIOA.com and PM member ZSpot. He works in a dealership and gives people good discounts

Many have ordered no problem, I had ordered, paid for, waiting 35+ days for my GMPP exhaust, only for them to tell me they haven't even shipped it yet.

Canceled, got my money back, ordered through ZSpot, had my stuff in 3 days (and cheaper)

He's helped me get a part, if it truly was discontinued. Sometimes it's discontinued to order new, but he can source a part from another person. Truly worth the PM it would take to ask.

I've made one, maybe two orders from GMPartsDirect, no issues.
But I completely support ZSPOT as well!

If the part is discontinued, then it is discontinued for everyone. You're looking for someone that has NOS (New Old Stock). As Chibi mentioned, ZSPOT can sometimes source parts from other warehouses. I've done business with him a few times. He's prompt with replies and happy to help.
Worth the PM.
