Question gmpartsdirect cat back exhaust

has anyone heard anything about the GM parts direct cat back exhaust? i just ordered it, wondering if you heard anything good/bad about it, even though its too late regardless. didnt want to go with borla or anything else, stick with gm parts if i can. i know its better steel used in the piping, but thats about it.

thanks in advance

I just ordered one also, I agree with you on the GM parts, and a much better price than Borla, et al. It should sound good with the bigger pipes and short resonator.
If anybody wants my OEM system (04 Intimidator) to dual out an LS or whatever with single exhaust, it's in very good condition and has a u bend delete on it, come pick it up (it's all one piece). All you'll need is the rear hanger for the second side, a couple of the rubber hangers, and someone to weld up the front connection to your car (local muffler shop should do it for cheap). Suffolk County, Long Island, NY
PM me for location

Thats a good setup for anyone with an LS. If you were in WI I know someone that would ****** it up quickly.

I hope someone takes it, I'd hate to just toss it, but it's gotta go soon

It's good that you guys have some options. The LS4's only have the Magnaflow kit.

Yea i was happy about options too. although most options for a bolt on cat back exhaust ranged from at least 800 up, most being 900. this one on gmpartsdirect was 603 but marked down online to 458 plus 100 shipping. not too bad i just hope its everything i expect. i know i like the polished mufflers and tips, i just hope it adds good flow and a nice growl.

in the market, let me know how it goes for you, and if you are doing a self-install, i'm sure a small write-up with some pictures can help a lot of people out.

Especially if you are satisfied.
