Does this garage door manually operates or automatically? Also, which garage door installation expert you call for door related issues.

I love threads like this.. I have been working through a few things..

Here's my garage where I get most of my stuff done, the Rambler got kicked out for my girlfriend's G70.

Since the Rambler got kicked out I went out and got a 2 car storage space that I'm turning into a shop-ish space to get some light work done. Currently houses my duplicate tools, the Rambler and a couple of my Aermacchi motorcycles.

My latest project and where I found it.. I have tons of cleaning to do here, not really looking forward to it all, but we'll get it done.

This thread back from the dead certainly has potential! I'm surprised there weren't more replies originally.

We moved out of our old place (typical modern 3 car garage that could barely fit 3 cars much less have space to work on them) to a new spot on a much larger lot.

The new place (technically older by about 40 years) only had a 2 car attached, but plenty of room to build a fresh garage out back to spec. We bought right at the start of covid and being an older house, we focused all our efforts on the 'must do' projects before moving in. By the time I got around to having free time to look into garages, prices had spiked. A stick garage was way over budget and even a steel building was absurdly expensive.

I've been kicking the can on doing anything until prices come down. I see lumber futures recently tanked, so I'm hoping that trend continues to hold until prices on the shelf come down. Ive also started considering a block garage. Certainly a lot more labor, but block prices seem to be holding pretty steady.

Swap the Trax for an Equinox, the trailer for a 66 Impala and a Buick where the Monte is sitting and you're up tp date. The Monte is currently sitting in Mom's garage awaiting to go to the father-in-law's for rust repair. Originally 24x40, stretched to 24x58. Have done 3 restos there except the paint, FIL does that at his place.
