Sounds like when I was playing with my dad's 06 SS.

When he first got it, we got to see how much more it had on my monte (L36), then i popped into my sister's impala SS (L67) and had more fun with him.

But both times the V8 saw the win.

Having driven all 3 engines a ton... I must say that the V8 is a beast and really great ot drive... but I do think I like the L67 the best...

That's awesome! I still haven't really got on mine hard yet. A few minor burn outs and 90 MPH runs, but nothing more. This thing will cruise at 90 MPH and besides passing every one on the road, you don't even feel it.

x2, and I think that goes for any 6th gen. I've been cruising on highways with friends in the car and no one else on the road, and without realizing it (until my radio got louder again) that I was over 100 mph, as i slowly eased on the brakes everyone in my car thought something was wrong, but i just informed them that I was going over 100 and I should slow down haha

LOL... Yeah, I actually would prefer to feel it, but it just goes to show how comfortable this highway cruiser really is.

This is an awesome story Craig. And I am not implying I don't believe you - I do. What I mean is I also think its was well told by you. I've read it a couple of different times and felt the rush myself. That rocked! I feel like it happened to me. The emotions are just right. Thanks for that!

I feel jipped, my limiter appears to be set at 125mph, It still had room to go, but the electronics wouldnt let it.

I agree though, the car feels so solid at those speeds, no shudders, no drifting, it just goes. It's like it wants to be there all the time.
