So I'm on a Ford Forum where I also keep them updated on my Torino progress... when you go on the site now, www.fordforumsonline.com, the very first thing where an advertisement would go on our page...




It's a recall link that takes you to a place where you can see recalls for every Ford car by link.

Not the best thing ofr a Ford enthusiast site, is it?

At least Ford is being up front and honest about their recalls - unlike one particular car company I won't mention.

 

Makes me "RECALL" all the problems I had with Fords, which made me switch over to GM back in the early 90's.

 

..I like it that Ford is upfront about their recalls.
They didn't need bailouts, and the taxpayer's don't own 60% of their company.
I believe Ford is improving and putting out some decent vehicles.
I was happy 2 read that GM has paid back the government early, and I hope they keep making $'s & creating `jobs for people.

I think we need a Human Recall to correct the defective parts

Um, guys, this isn't a Ford operated site... it's a private site run by Ford enthusiasts... and the Ford enthusiasts are upfront about the Recalls... not exactly what I would tout if I were trying to promote Fords.

 

I think it's a great idea.

 

Many forums have a section for recalls.

The old MCF had a recalls section with a link in the top right corner of the home page. It didn't get much traffic, if any. So it didn't get included in the new forum.
