Congrats Mike! My 05SS hit 82k and I need to keep this car for a long time cause I can't afford to replace it right now.

175K & it's still looks in ShowRoom Condition.
Mod `Mike,
Your Monte is proof, that if a owner maintains & loves their
Monte Carlo, that it will provide them many, many happy miles 4-Sure.
Your Monte has many more miles of enjoyment for you.
Thanks for sharing your milestone.
Wish you a million miles in your aweseom Monte..
EnJoy your `journey.

I'm jealous, I have yet to have a car that I can say I "know every mile". My Monte is the youngest/newest car I ever owned.

The day I can drive my Z28 though, that thing will be rebuilt from the ground up, so it will be like a new car

I just saw your post. 82K on an '05, you got PLENTY of life left on that ride. My wife is currently driving a '05 Impala with a 3400 we recent bought as a winter beater and it's got over 150K, running great. My winter beater is a '94 Grand Am with a 3100 and over 200K. In the 3800 realm, I know a few people with late 90's Series II engines that also have over 150K.

I have faith, your '05 will keep going
