1500hp Chevy Monte Carlo STREET BEAST
STREET BEAST as it's named, is a car that has most definitely proven itself on the street by winning Cash Days V and numerous other heavy hitting heads up street races / grudge races including this race featured at North Star Dragway in TX

Hi `Zach & Member's,
Thanks for all your posts & contributions & keeping things fun on this thread & on the MCF
I've never seen "Street Outlaws" , I've always only had regular broadcast T.V. (rabbit ears antenna).
I don't know how people find time in their lives to watch TV. I try to keep up with everyone on the `net, but hopefully someday I will get U-Verse TV or other hook `ups.
I `do like that 1st Gen Monte "Street Beast" 4-Sure
That has 2 `be a Wild 1/4 mile ride 4-Real...
Thanks again Zach & Member's,
EnJoy your day & the MCF

We actually decided to stay put on the house for now. The local area has been building up rapidly with amenities, so my hope is that house prices down here will continue their upward trend. That will also give me a chance to wrap up the various car projects, and save away some money to get something a little nicer once we do decide to move.
Life's been great- wifey and I are both busy with work. It's starting to cool down a bit now, so we've been able to start enjoying the outdoors a bit more in the evenings.
The cars are going ok. My Impala has been nothing but trouble lately- HVAC actuators keep failing (original OEM ones broke, tried aftermarket and they broke even quicker), been having lazy door locks that only work when they want to, and the regulator/cable failed on the driver's side window a couple days ago. I'm getting close to the point of repairing all of the nagging issues and getting rid of it. I've certainly never had a car with this many problems, it's just been one thing after another.
The vette is better, although I haven't been driving it much with all the flooding lately. It's not that I won't drive it in the rain, but there was so much mud and so many rocks washed down onto the roads that I didn't want to risk it. Only new mods lately have been a ZR1 spoiler and some Carbotech AX-6 brake pads. For the next step, I'd really like to do a cam. Strongly considering the LG G6X3 since it's proven to do very well power-wise.
The monte is so-so, I'm still trying to get everything wrapped up so I can start driving it again in a month or two once it cools off during the days. I took a bit of a step backwards buying the new TOG extreme headers, so the car looks more disassembled now than it did a few weeks ago. Still a lot of work to go, but it's definitely on the home stretch for getting back on the road.
Hope all is going well with you!

Hi `Chad,
It's great to see you online & thanks for your reply & update on life
I think you made a wise decision on waiting to sell your home. The housing market seems to improving
& home prices are climbing in many parts of the nation.
They are starting to recovery in my area
Wish you a stable market in your area & I hope that everything
works out for you, your family & your super `rides.
Please keep us updated on your Monte (when time permits)
You always seem to have some great projects going on in life.
I'm sure you will really enjoy your Monte when you get it back onto the highways of your `Life.
Oh, please try to made a sound clip when you put your new headers on your `BEAST (LOL)
It's great that you have the ability to work on your cars & turn
your Super Super Monte into a one of a kind & all yours.
Look forward to seeing you more on the MCF
Wish you the best in `Life

The cts-v tops out at 198mph, right now a quarter mile of a low 12-high 11 on street tires, makes 556hp factory.
I am in the process of modding the cts-v a bit though, headers, intake, heat exchanger, bigger injectors, pulley drop. This will throw the cts-v over 600whp and a 1/4 mile time of low 11-high 10 on slicks.
Turbo monte also makes 502whp but it's tuned to 472whp do to fuel system being to small. Once fuel system is resolved she should make 550+whp and knock on high 10-low 11 1/4 mile times.
