Which is faster ???

While I admit that it depends on the setup, I would say a stock LS4 vs a turbo'd 3800 would go to the turbo'd 3800 99% of the time. Some guys can't figure out the turbo setup on our v6's so every now and then one of them ends up being a turd.

Ok. "Sorry" for all the confusion. I guess my fingers were engaged before my Brain was. I'll try to clarify what I was trying to ask. On the 06 & 07 model Monte Carlo's. Are the V 6 super charged faster then the 5.3l stock out of the factory ? I guess is what I want to know. Sorry Luse4,Joe,Zipper for any confusion. Well I'm on this subject. Were any of the V 6's Super charged Faster then the 5.3L.????

You threw me with the turbo.
Was there ever a turbo monte offered?
Was there ever a turbo monte offered?
Stupid mistake or what?
A small car lot had a turbo V6 Monte setting on EXACTLY like my g/f Debbie's '81 LC Monte. Same color white. Same color landau roof. This Monte had bucket seats and center console. Both cars had the gauge package in them versus the idiot light package.
The car lot wanted $1200 for this car. And I let it go.
Didn't we wonder the same about a sc 3800 and the 3900 when they came out? Which would be faster?

The Series III supercharged 3800 (L32) is more powerful then the L67 but typically runs a tad slower in stock form because of changed shift points (IIRC) and it was in a heavier car. 3900's tend to run 2 or 3 tenths of a second slower then L67's which is probably due to them having less torque.
