Default Equus Bass 770

Has anyone wished that the muscle car would make a come back? I know I personally would love it. I love that big bold muscle ca style and the sound....don't even get me started on that lol. Well I was just browsing through youtube and I ran across a mustang race video that I figured I would check out. And I'm glad I did, the add that played was about a new (new as far as I know) car company called Equus who is making true modern muscle cars. Here is there website Equus Automotive and here is the video

This car is like a mish mash of the 60's and 70's muscle cars and it shows. It looks like a mustang, firebird, camaro, challenger all got together for a fun night and this is the baby that popped out. It looks really good, but if you dropped this car in the middle of the 60's and 70's it would not look out of place one bit. Just something cool I thought I would share with all of you. What do you guys think?

Thanks for posting/sharing...It was a great way to end my work day..

I love that modified Mustang 4-Sure & enjoyed the Vid & the way the driver drove `it like he stole `it > LOL

Now, if I ever have a ride like that I won't stop for a police officer (LOL) I don't want to ruin the ending for those that haven't watched & enjoyed your posted vid's

Yes, I love the muscle cars, but they are still building them: Mustang GT & Shelby's, Camaro's ZL1's, Z28 + ++, Dodge & Chyrsler Hemi's + the Corvette/Viper's etc...There's all kinds of Power out there `if you have the $'s 2 have fun 4-Sure....

I sort of agree with you on that. Those cars have a lot of power. But some of those I don't quite see as "muscle cars". The Vette and the viper I almost would put those in a class with the Audi R8, Ferarri's, etc. They have tons of power, but they just don't have that muscle car vibe in my opinion. The Mustang and the Challenger have done good jobs at kind of sticking with that big beefy look and have tons of power in the 5.0's, shelby's, and then in the hemi's as well. The Camaro on the other hand for me, is in that "sports" car category. It puts out tons of power and is by no means a bad car. But it just doesn't give off that muscle car vibe, at least to me. When I looked at the Bass 770, the first thing I thought was muscle. It has that look, that sound, that vibe. If you took that car and put it up against the rest and had a group of car nuts that have never seen any of these cars (which I know would be hard lol) and had them vote on which one just gave off that muscle car vibe I think the Bass 770 would come in 1st, the challenger would come in 2nd, the mustang would come in 3rd, and then I think it would be a toss up between the other 3. None of these cars are bad, again, there is a reason that they have been making these cars for so many years. I just don't think all modern cars with big engines have that "muscle car" status if you know what I mean. That's all just my opinion of course lol
