Ebay fees are outrageous

I've been slowly selling things on eBay. I do understand, they need to have a way to make money off your sale, but this is getting crazy.

I don't like that they put a fee on your SHIPPING cost!! Seriously, boxes, tape, packing material and the shipping company are all a cost. I get they want to stop people who "pad" there shipping prices, but this is WAY outta hand. SO now you either do "free shipping" (and now shipping charges get final value fee or list a slightly higher shipping fee to compete with FEEbay).

I sold a few things when ebay first started and only charged a few dollars in fees. Then about 2 years ago I sold some electronics and when I got the invoice I found out that there was an additional fee for selling electronics. I think i paid about 10%. It's not worth the trouble to me anymore. I'll just buy stuff now and let someone else do the selling.
