ebay horsepower chips

do the horse power chips they sell on ebay really work? what is the for sure way to gain more horsepower/torque for 02 monte ls?

DO NOT buy any performance chips off ebay, they are crap. its just a rip off and they do nothing.

I second Batman..........

DHP may be the best for the 3400.. Unless someone knows of a better chip....

what is DHP? and where can i get it? is a stock monte ls 3400 motor a lot less powerful than the stock 3800? i know the 3400 is 180 hp and 3800 is 200. is that really a big dif?

I have not seen a programmer specific to the 3400 yet.

FYI: I was one of those silly people who bought a chip off of ebay (it was only $12) and couldn't even use it because my check engine light came on right away...
