Default Dual Post Batt?

Got this today thinking it was a dual post battery (picture online showed dual posts) then after buying it realized there was no post on top. Guy at autozone said I could try to drill it then put a post in, but I don't trust autozone so... Can I do that or is there some kind of special terminal I can use? I like having the dual posts for car audio purposes.

I would take that back and if you want dual post just run a distribution block off of that battery so you have many spots for wire.

Take it back. Don't touch it. Tell them to give you the proper battery, or a refund and run from that store. AZ will void the warranty and you'll be stuck. I wouldn't buy a quart of oil from them much less a battery.

X2 on a distro block. Just get a normal battery, and a distribution block and you'll be set, and not locked into buying specialized batteries in the future.

Sure you could probably drill/tap it- but that is a really terrible idea on something like a battery.

Where do you get those distribution blocks?

Online. Sites like KnuKonceptz sells em. Just google em or search em up on eBay.

But I'd take that battery back to AZ and get a normal battery if you're gonna run a distro block. I wouldn't keep it for warranty purposes. If their system shows it's supposed to be a dual post and it's not then when/if it messes up they may not take it

They basically sell them anywhere and in many different size wire connections. I would also take that battery back since it isn't what they said it was supposed to be.
