im thinking about putting my battery in the trunk. but dont feel like spending 70-140 dollars on a kit when i can just buy the wire and the box for less than 40. but idk what gauge wire would be best. all the kits i see use 2 gauge. would this be best?

 

Plan on getting a h/o alt? If not, 2ga. would be plenty.
