Does your employer give out Christmas bonuses?
Yea we get a gift card (visa) for thanks giving a week prior to it. It's $100 across the board. And the owner gives a visa gift card for a persons birthday he does it by what your age is multiplied by 10. So next year I turn 30 he'll give me a $300 gift card. It's up to 500 max so if ur turning 59 then too bad max you'll get is $500 if you're turning 21 you get $210 and so on.
We got a $50 gift card for the local supermarket store, but last year nothing, and I think we only got something this year because we made a bit of a stink about it lol, that was for supervisors. Our CSW's were given gift baskets that were easily worth $50 or more full of chocolates and other assorted goodies and the basket itself was a cast vase of sorts that could be used for plants or something else along those lines, so it was a bit of a slap in the face when we were told to give them out to everyone, yet we were led to believe we wouldn't be getting anything and then in the afternoon on the 24th we were given xmas cards with our gift cards in them
The company I work for did the opposite. They used to give all employees gifts. But a bunch of idiots complained about it, just because they hate the company and like to make things difficult. So the company said fine, you all get nothing. Management gets their bonuses like they always did.
