Congratulations Justin on your recent photo contest win. Nice winning picture for the "Winter Wonderland" theme. It fit the theme nicely.

Well Christmas is behind us and were quickly entering the new year of 2016. What marvels await us, what mods await your Monte's. Our last photo contest winner for 2015 forum member "Budsjlm" is starting us all of with cleaning our Monte's for those of you still driving yours this time of year. Or for our southern most members those of you catching all the weird winter tornado's and rain and such moving through your area.

Justin wants this contest to be themed after a Bon Jovi album "Slippery when wet" Is there a cool picture tucked away when your Monte is being washed or were you caught out with it in a rain storm? Perhaps at this years past GM Nationals when it rained all the time there is a shot or two that struck you as pretty cool, beads of water resting on your highly waxed Monte.

Here are his thoughts in his own words to help guide you with your contest submission. His mind is clean, what were you thinking he meant?

"Be it your caught in the rain, washing your pride and joy, let's see her all wet and yes I mean the car"

So here are the rules: All photo's have to be submitted by midnight this Sat. the 2nd of Jan. Your Monte has to be in the photo, no photo shopping. And this time we will waiver the no older than 3 month rule. Dig up any photo you may have stashed away if it is otherwise impossible for you to compete with the current photo theme. The voting will be starting Monday the 4th of Jan. 16

Remember all winning photo's are permanently embedded in a forum thread for all eternity. The whole album is taking on a nice appearance, lots of your fellow members Monte Carlo's in some pretty nice environments. Go look them over when you have a minute. We would love to see yours included, so should a particular theme come around that catches your attention, please don't hesitate to participate. This contest is open to all members old and new. Lets see your skilz....

I got a Wet Monte too!?!?

 

Come on people only 2 of us have entered so far we need more than that!! lets see the wet monte carlos of the forum,

what are you telling me you have never been cough in the rain or washed it,

 

Here is mine. Taken from INSIDE the 84 while waiting to race!! LOL (We did race that day!)

 

Hit a snow/ice storm in Columbus OH and came back to Toledo OH where there was no snow....lol. This was back in the Spring of 2011.
