I work at a larger corporation and we don't really have a holiday bonus. There is a profit sharing thing early in the next year, but it's not huge.

Normal salary isn't bad at all though, so I won't complain.

My company used to give us $100 at christmas but when we were taken over that was gone, last year we were given a bottle of body wash and a scarf, this year I think we may get a luncheon but it won't be until mid january. We even took up our own collection in the office to buy ourselves a christmas lunch

You know what it always works out this way.

Sorry to hear none the less! what a way to start a new year, at least being laid off you can still collect unemployment compared to being fired. It'll work out for the best, it always does.

We got a $50 gift card for the local supermarket store, but last year nothing, and I think we only got something this year because we made a bit of a stink about it lol, that was for supervisors. Our CSW's were given gift baskets that were easily worth $50 or more full of chocolates and other assorted goodies and the basket itself was a cast vase of sorts that could be used for plants or something else along those lines, so it was a bit of a slap in the face when we were told to give them out to everyone, yet we were led to believe we wouldn't be getting anything and then in the afternoon on the 24th we were given xmas cards with our gift cards in them
