I don't think I ahev my life as well chronicled as yours.....

But I lost my grandmother in February. I finished two more semesters of college. I got 4 cars restored over the summer ('68 Fairlane coupe, painted a '50 Chevrolet 4 door car, and restored a pair of '74 Ford F-100 trucks), completed two more semesters of college (1 to go!),

A few highlights of mine for 2011.

I helped create and welcomed another daughter into the world. Ariel Georgine Nelson was born eight weeks ago today.

My financial outlook is looking better. I got my mortgage caught up and in good standing this past April and even with Susan on maternity leave I didn't fall behind. In 2012 I want to at least assume the mortgage so my ex-wife will have no claim to my house, at best I would like to get it refinanced.

I went looking for a pair of front fenders and ended up coming home with six cars. Four of them are really cool. 77 Dodge Aspen wagon, 71 Dodge Dart Swinger 383, 70 Plymouth Duster 340, 66 dodge Dart.

I have a contact on a cool 63 Ford Falcon Futura or Sprint coupe with a factory V-8 that is priced right.

I am looking forward to 2012.

I swear that Caprice looks like a Virginia State Patrol car.

TERRIBLE year. Spent the first 4 months or so recovering from severed tendons and nerves in my right hand only to spend the rest of the year dealing with my wife's leukemia, even more of a life changer. Also currently unemployed indirectly as a result of all this and unsure where I'll be employed or what I'll be doing after my unemployment runs out.
Without a doubt the worst year of my life, I had no idea how good things were before.

2011 was pretty good for me (other than my few medical issues) hopefully 2012 is just as good
