Takes all kinds I guess... I would have asked how long until your engine is at operating temperature, cause then I can time the rice to the table at about 20 minutes, if it's good rice that is... lol...

Now my previous statements about the honda don't go with full malice... I do like civics... some people make them to be really nice cars. Most of my friends or acquaintances drive hondas and wouldn't have it any other way.
However, I remember taking on with a japanese swapped b16 and driving down the interstate and running 5500rpm going 90 in 5th gear.... that isn't a cruising car. It takes much more money to build a civic to outrun a monte carlo... especially a non special civic.... I.e. si, type r... etc.
Now put the same money into the monte and see what happens.

Also, I would have to think that when the Hondas are being modded to gain more power, they're being runned at their extreme end. And their engine's life span and reliability is being shortened drastically.
It's no secret that the 6th gen Monte transmissions are a weak point. But a Monte is going to handle performance mods much better than a Honda.
