Ya but it's kinda hard to dry the car cover on the car when you need to drive the car LOL!!!
My Monte always has the cover on it when it's stored in the garage so I just drape the Stang's cover over the covered Monte and by later that evening it's dry.

Good point Amy.... I'm not taking in consideration this may be a situation of parking a daily driver car.... My bad.
But, last I can tell, the OP still has his 5th gen Monte.... So, if the cover is actually too wet to take off and drive, he can still hope in his other Monte and go

Horizon is not my daily driver, its one of my cruising cars that comes out when the mood strikes me.
