Yeah, I had to break down myself 4 years ago and get a new TV. I got my parents old 24" AOE TV from June 1980 and the picture started to to get a red tint to it. Lets see: its been dropped 3 times, had a bunch of drinks spilled on it, cake shoved into the top vents, oh and it lasted just over 24 years.

Bunch of hours of Nintendo time on it too.

Well flat screens used to be a lot more expensive then what we gave for our's. But then a microwave used to be $1,000 or more and so did a VCR.

Now you can buy a VCR for less then $100. Even some microwaves.

So maybe some day a flat screen will be $79.95 too?

This has nothing to do with TVs, VCRs, or microwaves. Just something I happened to remember. My mother used to tell me I was going about life all wrong. Cause I had a hobby first when I should have gotten married, had kids, THEN..... the hobby. She was under the impression a '55/6/7 Chevy would still be $100 or so in the future.

Good thing I didn't listen.

(Or maybe I should have????????????? Too late now)

Saw a red 56 Chevy at a local coffee shop today. First sign of spring. The classic cars are coming out of hibernation!

Precious hasn't been out since the middle of Nov. I will put the insurance back on it in early May, but have to get it out to get the emissions tested before that. Just hope it doesn't snow anymore.

It was just TOO nice of a day out yesterday to ignore.

I should have drive one of the '57s instead of the '06 Monte. I went up saturday monring to get the renewal sticker for it and both Dodges. The '57s will wait till later, like end of april or in to may before I renew them.

Sure was nice of the state of Ohio to INCREASE the renewal fee.
I guess no one in the state building or govenor's office heard there's a recession going on? Or that I will not get a raise in pay this year? (bet they all do)

Where's the beating the dead horse icon when you need it?

More nice cars are coming out. Today, there was a classic GTO, an Intimidator edition Monte, a 70 Chevelle, and a couple classic Mustangs.
