well last night i was cruising the good ol monte carlo forum here. and all the sudden my laptop shuts down. i try to start it and it wont go past the bios. so i ended up looking around to see how much it would cost to fix it. about 200 bucks on a year old laptop that was beat. so i decided to just get a new one. ended up with an asus, intel centrino 2 nvidia graphics card, 4gs ram, 250 g hardrive. got it on clearance for 500 bucks. origionally 988(or somethig like that) so i am pleased. now another bad thing. i was driving home on the beautiful day. cruising about 4 seconds behind a blue dodge pickup. stuff started flying out of the bed. i hit the brakes like none other. a piece of it hit the windshield, then it sounds like i clobbered another piece on the bumper. i pull over real quick to asses. i got bck in a sped off to catch the guy. he had no plates, and i started beeping to get him to pull over. wouldnt do it. after about 3 miles of following i said screw it. when i got home i ended up with a chip in the windshield and some gouges on the center piece of the lower spoiler. to me that is terrible, to a normal person they would shrug it off. then after that i had to go and get a couple teeth drilled. so unhappy day for me.

 

That ****ing sucks. You should have called the cops from your cell and told them about the truck you were following. He would have had to stop eventually.

 

 

Sounds like he knew his crap hit your car. And with no plate on the back, he knew that as long as he never stopped while you were behind him, you'd never be able to find him again.

Hopefully, today will be a better day.

 

That sucks man! You still should have reported him to the cops "Blue Dodge pickup truck without plates".

 

"Swirving all over the road like he's on something."

That would get 4 - 5 cop cars in your immediate area real fast.

Then file a report for the damages to your car he caused.

 

i swear officer that dent in the door, scratch on the lower rocker and spider cracks in th other side rocker werent there before

PS. Here in Ohio if something falls off say a dump truck and damages your car, they have to pay for repairs on your car.

 

Aww man so sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to me 5 days after I got the new one. It still has the battle scars.
